Little Blue Man's Great Adventure |
INSPIRATION: Puppet activity we did in class. Working with puppet's gave me the idea to do a claymation for my second project. The way that I view puppetry, is that we use our hands to make inanimate objects move and come to life. In claymations, the same process occurs, we use our hands to make inanimate objects have movement and life, the only difference is that in this case the hands becomes invisible in the final product. We don't see the hands, but we DO see the moving object, it's like a more advanced form of puppetry to me. PROCESS: I had no outside help on this project at all. I moved the clay by myself, I recorded myself, wrote the story myself, edited myself...EVERYTHING! So, it took me like 6 hours to record 10 minutes of footage, which I then edited down to one minute. STORY: It begins in Play Dough world, where Little Blue Man is trying to figure out where he belongs, so he travels to different worlds, and trys to adapt to each one. Where does his journey end? You have to watch to find out. |
