For this project, I took a sound clip I had from a trip to Dublin. The crosswalks there make a very loud sound that sounds like a lazer. I was intrigued and immediately recorded it using the movie function on my digital camera. I knew that I had to use it for something. I wanted to use it in its original incarnation, and then manipulate that sound and throw in other non-musical sounds to try to make something that sounds like music. I am intrigued by things being used as something they are not.
