Coming soon to a theatre near you! The Bitter Fury!

Using Adobe Photoshop, I basically created a layer for each image and assembled them together. The whole idea was to create a 70's looking horror/thriller movie poster. All of the photos that I assembled are my property and were taken with my 35mm camera.

The layers are as follows, starting with the top right in a clockwise fashion:
1. The red streaks are actually tree branches that were taken with a long exposure to get the blur/"streakey" look. Using the color levels in Adobe Photoshop I adjusted the color to get the deep red that you see here. The picture was originally blue.
2. This is a photo I took of Sarah at one of her shows that she performs with her partner Carlos. Their group is titled "Analogue Noise Project" and they were performing at the Church of the Friendly Ghost. I adjusted the levels a little bit but for the most part its straight from the negative.
3. The body of water with the sihlouettes of people was taken around sunset at Town Lake. I adjusted the color levels to make the sun's reflection on the water a nice golden brown.
4. Although it may look like the sunset and the body of water are the same picture, they're not. The picture actually contains the rich bright colors seen here, I didn't make any adjustments.
5. The title- As far as I know, there isn't an actual movie called "The Bitter Fury". I googled it just to make sure and nothing came back. The title just came to me and sounded like a cliche 70's horror title. Perhaps Brian Depalma's "The Fury" was an inspiration.
