I have found disturbing images. Too frightening and upsetting to describe. . .
but not soon after I saw the site, the link i found broken. So here is the description:
a couple in a kitchen
naked
squat over a dead, dark skinned body
woman holds a saw
over the corpse's head
she grins wildly
her lover man with tatoos
smiles sinisterly
another photo
the head is severed
they hold it high like a prize
this is not history
these photos are from today
who is the body?
who is the man?
they push the dead man's severed hand
into a nostril
the fuck you finger
and so behind closed doors
in suburbia
are severed heads, hands
and ugly people

In a mood for conspiracy, but still quite thought provoking. The terror of death has been used as mind control for centuries. Here is film on US concentration camps, including the Jim Jones massacre which may have been a CIA secret operation. Hmmm.
I found a slightly annoying goth band called Terrorcouple that claims my hero, Antonin Artaud, as one of their influences. I was then led into a place for a band also influenced by Theatre of Cruelty. Einsturzende Neubauten .
For some reason, these people that claim to be fans of Artaud also travel the Goth scene. Vampire fakers and religious iconography everywhere. In Rice's Lestat book, he becomes a rock star by pretending to be a vampire, which he already is. Lestat broke the vampire rules of naming other vampires, general public presence of a vampire, and the secret rules of the "dark trick." So, if there are "real" vampires out there, Rice certainly helped promote the mythology by pretending to be writing a novel that is about a vampire writing a novel.
Enough of that.
I think it is fascinating that beyond Artaud's influence on theatre, his darker aspect is nourished by the blood thirsty nerds who can't fake their vampirism very well. Here's one called Vardhlokr. His music is not too bad, experimental gothic dreamy.
The closest representation I have found of the kind of music I want for the final project is by an Italian band called Corpoparassita. One site called them "Death ambient from Italy."
This band, named after the German air force, Luftwaffe, feels like a Nazi/vampire group. The men in the photos look hateful and white. What does "bled in white" mean anyway?
