After our first video, the class informed us, in an eloquent and graceful manner, on how to make our next video better. They wanted to see the video shot in a narrative form, one that gave them a better grasp on exactly what the hell we were talking about. Also, they wanted us to focus on a small number of students, in order to create a sense of connectivity with each interviewed subject. Knowing that this grandiose endeavor would take hundreds of hours and cost thousands of dollars, we grudgingly decided to bring an editor on board. We picked the sassy Taryn Waldman. She rocked it out and our video rules. We have successfully shown the inside of Texas Creative, why the students do it, and why they love it. |
