SELECTIVE MEMORY REPLACEMENT
Hello everyone. Thank you for visiting my page.
Over the past 10 years...I have been leading the research team at the Univeristy of Austin's department of Mind Replacement. Many of you are not yet familiar with Selective Mind Replacement (SMR) but are familiar with the idea. There have been films in the recent years that have explored the idea of being able to erase selected memories from one's mind. Here is a little explination of how the process works.
The memories that people generally want erased at commited as Long Term Memories (LTM). LTM's are stored in the portion of the brain called the Medial Temporal Lobe...specifically in the Hippocampus. These LTMs are stimulated by neuron censors that can be triggered by sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. Because of this association with all five senses... it is extremly difficult to forgot LTMs. So what I did was invent a drug called Hipposyne. What Hipposyne does is infiltrates the Hippocampus and target specific memories to be replaced. The patient takes the pills and consciously thinks about the memory as they fall into a semi-conscious state. Once they are in the semi-conscious state...the drug begins stimulating the neurons and extracting the memories on to a projection screen, which in turn is recording all of the memories. The patient may be under SMR anywhere from five minutes to three hours...depending on the speed of the neuron stimulation. The patient wakes up once the process is complete and has no recolection of the time they were under. The memories are recorded onto tape and stored away in government archives in case the memories may ever need to be evoked for governmental purposes.
On Sunday, May 14th, I gave the first live performance of SMR to an audience at the University of Texas. Although we are not supposed to display people's SMR tapes..I am putting this up on here for you to be able to visualize the way the memories are stimulated, extracted, and recorded. Thank you for your time...
