For this project, I deconstructed Kamron's story that read like a dream sequence. He writes about a mundane journey through a mundane space: the supermarket. He observes the sights, sounds, and people of this space and provides vivid imagery that creates a sensory experience.

For the first deconstruction, i physically cut out words and phrases of a hard copy of the story. I then repositioned sentences and thoughts to make a new narrative. Because the phrases provided so much vivid, colorful mental imagery, i decided to re-paste the sentences on colorful paper with works of modern art I thought were appropriate in expressing the new narrative. I think of the new narrative as a surreal meditation or dream sequence... Scroll, view, then proceed where the words direct you...
