The oldest part of the house, the 1-story section on the left is what my Dad originally bought. After my parents had us kids, he built an addition which is the 2-story section on the right. From what I remember he dug the foundation for it with a shovel. It was a gigantic hole and I still can't believe he did that.

The barn on the right was also very old. One winter my Dad helped me design and build a little batting practice area in the attic of that barn. We used a blue tarp and some rope and I felt like a pro and SOOO lucky because I could go up there any time of the day and hit baseballs off the tee. It was a precarious climb up to the top however, as one had to pull off some acrobatic climbing just to get into the attic area. My mom was always worried that I would fall. I never did.

This photo must have been taken sometime in 1998 or 1999, since our '98 Buick Lesabre is sitting in the driveway. The car is currently being driven by me.
