What good is a bullet without a gun? |

The Idea | My idea came from a talk with my friends about how an object's purpose is dependent on the user. For my project, I wanted to use a bullet, something created to destroy, and rework it so that instead it sustained life. To do this, I was going to make a flower pot out of bullets. |
The Process | First, I purchased tons of shotgun shells from your local Wal-Mart. Then, I covered the metal part with blue painter's tape and painted the shells different colors to see what it looked like (I went with white). Then is scratched some of the paint off to make it look more like aged wood or some natural material. I used apoxy to glue all the pieces together to construct a flower pot. |
