Life
Two months ago I had a dream I woke up and wrote it down. It meant something to me at the time and now that I've thought about it for a while it means even more. I'm not sure I can talk about it anymore I'm all talked out. It's about the way I feel. I can't help but be influenced by where I'm at, I've been away for a few years and then moved back and now many things are painfully obvious to me about this place. What it means to be a member of this community and what this community is about. Everything is by design the way we make each other feel, we grind each other down strange way to spend our time on the planet, don't you think? Eventually, This is just a draft and right now it's more like a journal entry.
I have been reading all I can about time, cinema, storytelling, listening to lectures, on and on. The problem is all of this information comes from one source and it all points in one direction right to the problem. Hard to trust things like that better to trust my feelings. Funny how all of this concludes we all have no soul of course these books weren't written by me or people like me, not really so I trust I do have a soul, I feel sorry for the writers, fuckers. Below is a list of books. I'm paying attention to the language of film described by Deleuze.
Progress
I started off with an outline of the script ran it by a few people and soon realized they can't help me. Sent out e-mail's saying I was looking for storyboard artist so far I've gotten eight or nine emails with samples. I look them over as they come in all different styles, it helps. I worked out the backgrounds on most of the characters. A few people from class volunteered to help me work out the script. Andy showed up and it helped I talked out the script to him we had a microphone going I had to flesh out some of the minor characters he pointed out they were more important than I thought, thanks Andy. Next I'm going to iterate the script, it's supposed to be funny so I guess I better make it funny. Once I get that figured out I'll pick a storyboard artist and have him knock out some boards then start on the audio.
As far as where I want to take the audience I'd like to point out some things that maybe they hadn't thought of in the same way. I have a friend who's read a lot of books he's afraid to do anything, knows it wont work out exactly how he wants it to, kind of trapped that way,, I'm putting all that aside and I'm just going to put it out there. It wont be for everyone but I hope it helps America, thanks freaks!
All the work I have is in the form of booklists, notes, storyboard samples, analog audio tapes
and drafts of the script. Once the screenplay is done and I have some sketches
or style picked I'll publish it here until then, ta ta
