For my final project, I originally intended to create an immersive video represenation on what happens after death. It starts with a hypnotic zoom in to a television from a living room, and goes on to intro various keywords (with seductive voice overs) along with timeless images of love.
Well this is as far as I was able to get on the project on the Friday preceeding final presentation day. Why? Well, for a number of reasons... a couple being natural distasters and a shitty landlord. Things had to change... quick!
So I hussled and decided to make light of the once hectic situation I found (and placed) myself in. Making a short, auto-biographical mini-documentary about the entire experienced proved to be a more respectful ode to my Death Class. It was actually funny and 100% real. Go figure.
For technical histories, I made the 1st video in after-effects and premiere 7.0. The rest was with my own digital camera on video mode, and clips taking from the actually flooding that took place in my bedroom following the second storm.
