in this project i worked with the idea of layering different tracks of a video i captured during the closing of Heathrow airport in summer of 2007 due to terror attacks. i tried to recreate the almost 27 hours of waiting and camping in the airport halls and to condense them in 2 minutes. hence, this 2 minutes video can be looped.

although it is designed to be an installation with 8 speakers and at least 2 screens, this version will provide an idea of the project. the sound evolved through 7 different versions and became very abstract. i decided to filter the aiport noise, and while doing it i started to discover different patterns that, as the layers of video, blended very well.
