1) To create the piece, I took an alginate mold of my good friend's chin and neck. (thank you Shayna!)

3)I reinforced the alginate with plaster strips, set it in a bowl, and filled the negative with UltraCal40. (a concrete, plaster, water mixture)

 

 

 

22) I painted the concrete and mounted it on a small mirror. Then set it up with an old wire framed puppet for animating!!
