Making an Erhu
This is my attempt at making an Erhu, a traditional chinese two-stringed violin.
Materials
1. 1-1inch by 36 inch dowel rod
2. 2-smaller gage guitar strings (12-16 gage)
3. one tin paint can, it can be small or large.
4. 2-3/8 inch by 4 inch dowel rods
5. 1-3/8 inch by 1 inch dowel rod
6. A wooden bridge, either custom made or bought. I had access to some power tools so i just made mine.
