Cara The path started with balance: inside/outside, self/other, index/referent, silence/light. Mobility was the concept of individuality and the barriers (transparent/opaque) created by motifivation (internal/external) and stimulus (accidental/forced). In this view, people are cells of individual knowledge (sometimes cancerous, sometimes beneficial), pods are the social structures which immediately affect individuals, and networks are modes of communicating, the social foundation. The goal is to identity a boundary for mobile architecture to break -- time, self, fragmentation ... . The story is the path. The path is the journey. Stases reflect instances on the path. Does the act of setting a metaphor in a physical representation make the metaphor more real?
Yoko Ono "Instruction painting separates painting into two different functions: the instructions and the realization. The work becomes a reality only when others realize the work. Instructions can be realized by different people in many different ways. This allows infinite transformation of the work that the artist himself cannot foresee, and brings the concept of "time" into painting. ... Instruction painting makes it possible to explore the invisible, the world beyond the concept of time and space. And then, sometimes later, the instructions themselves will disappear and be properly forgotten."
