Overall, I'd have to say that this semester in the Actlab has been a success. I saw work from some people that blew me away, and I produced some images that would've never came to be if I hadn't taken this course. I began with high expectations of the work I wanted to produce, but I was clueless as to what I would have to go through meet those expectations. I had almost two year's worth of experience in the wet darkroom, which made assume that the digital darkroom would be a breeze.

Boy was I wrong...

I thought that I would be shelling out enormous 40x50 inch prints before the first presentation day. Thinking that magical fairies would take me to magical and far away places would have been a much more realistic outlook than the one I had.

So...I had to take a few steps back a time or two during the semester, (especially after my second presentation) to set realistic goals that wouldn't kill my great expectations.
