Post Modern Gothic was the first ACTLab class I took at the University of Texas. After an entire semester, I still couldn't offer much of an explanation of what post-modernism is. We focused most of the semester on comparing and contrast monsters of modernism with postmodernism. We had long discussions about zombies and frankensein as well as plagues and cyborgs. This class was extremely fun and interesting and I hope that my projects reflect the effort it took to grasp such an elusive concept.
