Michelle Ty was born in Houston, TX during the winter of 1986.

She is a proud mother of a Labrador-Chow puppy named Dave.

Currently in her third year as an undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin, she is majoring in English, Philosophy, and Radio-TV-Film. She has wild dreams of becoming a professor one day.

She joined the Actlab in fall of 2006 under the guidance of Sandy Stone and her dutiful sidekick, Joey Lopez. The Actlab presented her with many "firsts": her first time making a website, her first attempt at hardware hacking, and her first opportunity to turn theory into art, for example.
