ARRESTED BODY
This body is about a type of consequence of doing wrong. In the events where we do something counter to what we know we should do, there are prices to pay. Here, it is the silhouette getting arrested (indicated from the pose as well as the colors surrounding it). In every case, the consequence isn't arrest, but I like the visual and the drama. But the silhouette is about the pressure and punishment given to us by outsiders. Here, the colors are trapping the figure on both sides, but not above, meaning that there is always a way out. Always a way to save yourself, and turn back from a path that is inciting this punishment. Worn on the figure like buttons on the Miranda rights, which go along with the arrest theme, but also represent the ritual that a lot of punishment has.
