INTERACTIVE RESEARCH

......................................

The interactive research section of EMMA is a data collection installation for honoria's doctoral dissertation for the interdisciplinary Ph.D. program of The University of Texas at Austin.

honoria's dissertation focuses on creative collaboration that networks facilitate.

This multidisciplinary research will investigate the effects of three kinds of networks.

  1. mail art that circulates creative art products via the postal systems of the world
  2. digital art created and distributed via the Internet
  3. entrepreneurial creative networks that foster collaboration

honoria has access to these three groups because she is

  1. an experienced mail artist who has participated in international conferences
  2. the producer of an award-winning collaborative Internet art project, and
  3. exploring innovative uses of networks in the incubation of new ventures in The University of Texas Graduate School of Business Entrepreneurial program.

Research into mail art and electronic networks by artists and entrepreneurs is critical because distributed collaboration among creative people in global communities incubates new values and frames of reference in art and commerce.

If you are an active mail artist and an Internet networking artist please answer 15 questions on the
