Rachael "Racy" Osborn
Racy is currently a student at the University of Texas in Austin, majoring in Radio/Television/Film. She is a fifth year student and is in her fourth year at UT after completing her freshman year at UT's sister college, UTSA (University of Texas San Antonio). Raised by her father, a wine enthusiast, she grew up appreciating the value of a great vino. Now she works as a wine tasting hostess at a local vineyard and winery, Driftwood Vineyards. She loves her weekend job of explaining the proper fundamentals of wine tasting, while also enjoying Texas wines herself. She also once enjoyed her part-time weekday job as a radio sidekick on the JB & Sandy Morning Show, a local radio morning talk show on Mix 94.7 FM (KAMX). There she aired as the female sidekick along side the two male hosts, while also assisting the producer by making line-ups, screening phone calls, and running studio errands. Upon leaving her job at the radio station, she has decided to focus on her studies, as she plans to graduate this spring. She is currently enrolled in four classes: Disruptive Technologies, Science Fiction and Fantasy Genres, Production Design, and Broadcast and Cable Selling. She hopes to one day become a Casting Director.
When she is not pouring wines or actively engaged in her studies, Racy enjoys making trips to her hometown with her cat, Chloe, to visit her family in Sugarland, Texas. She has an extensive family with both of her parents divorced and remarried. She has an older stepbrother and stepsister on her stepfather's side, as well as a full biological younger brother and two younger half-sisters from her father and stepmother. Her and her father are both avid movie lovers and enjoy spending time together discussing films. They have even considered making a new ghost hunting television show.
