Tim is like most people, his normal work week involves a trip to the grocery store.
FutureMart. Bombarded by flying advertisments, and holographic floor projections proclaiming
"Sale on Soup," Time navigates these troubled isles of commercialism with the "Grocery Manager."
A shopper's companion, "Grocery Manager" assists Tim with shopping needs.
With the "Grocery Manager," Tim can scan items, find specials and savings, and read valuable nutritional
information, while keeping a running total of his items.
Checkout is facilitated by AL 2000, a robot who interacts directly with the interface to aid Tim. AL 2000 can
also sack Tim's groceries with super human kidness and efficency, and he never tires of saying, "Paper or Plastic, sir?"
Tim works at one of the three online banking and investment firms, InterStar Inc. A 26 year-old, single
male in the upper-middle class, he insists on the most facilitated of shopping experiences due to his busy schedule
and technology filled life. X
