In this project, I bought 4 or 5 children's toys and started messing with the circuitry. One survived

I added two controls; the long dial at the bottom, which seems to affect the modulation of the toy, and a red button, which does completely different things each time you press it. It also plays songs on its own sometimes; alien songs with no rhyme or reason.
