I feel like my personality is very split. I have a lot going on that makes me stressed out and depressed (see Body) and so depression and anxiety are things I always have to struggle with. Yet, I am still internally optimistic. No matter how down I get, I have a hopeful and postive outlook. I tried to convey that by painting a canvas bright colors and overlaying that with darker, sadder colors. I put painter's tape on the canvas in the shape of a sun and peeled it away so that it resembles something close to sunshine coming through a gray day. A good inspiration for this was a song I love and relate to by the Grateful Dead.
