Project 1
The House of the Future!

First I sketched out the design of the house. It has a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a washroom, a study, and a garage. The main difference between today's house and my house of the future is a brain room. The brain room contains a central computing system that controls the entertainment system, security system, air conditioning, and personal computing. Also in the back of the house is a garden. This garden differs from today's garden by producing hybrid food. Tomato offspring with potato roots. Broccoli tops with carrot roots. In the kitchen is an oven that lifts from the top of the counter off hydraulics. This will prevent in burning people's arms and providing less strain on people's backs from bending over to retrieve food from the oven. This home of the future could become a reality within the next ten to fifteen years.

After I sketched out the design, I drew it onto poster board; furniture and all.

I traced the outline over with ink to make the details prominent.

I constructed walls out of foam board and put them in their proper place.

I then constructed the yard and driveway out of green poster board and light brown goam board.

I then put in shrubs for the garden.

The finished product.

I also made a hybrid animal. I give you...Pow! A pig and a cow that produces milk and both beef and pork.

This house is weird science because it's weird that it's going to eventually happen! A house figurtively having a brain and hybrid food! That's not normal...that is weird.
