An Argument for Present Tense

Before project 2, we had a class discussion about how a blackbox was largely based on the idea of input and output. People assume that what goes in is the same things as what comes out (or that any changes were only the expected ones). However, that's probably not always the case. Nowhere is this more evident than the human mind; and specifically, in memory.

With this video I attempted to show what it would be like to remember the same event, with all the same details...five different ways. How much does it matter that we probably remember events inaccurately? The conclusion I came to with the video was that it doesn't matter at all. Clichéd as it may sound, all that really matters is the present. So, this is an argument for present tense.

(For some reason, during compression, quicktime added an extra minute and a half of nothingness. So you may want to stop it once you see the credits roll. Otherwise you'll just, uh, be watching a blackbox.)
