Freedom of Speech and Protest as a 'disruptive technology'

Freedom of speech is by its very nature a disruptive act. It allows for opposing opinions to be voiced dispite their unpopularity. George Orwell wrote, "If freedom of speech means anything at all, it is the freedom to say things that people do not want to hear" Therefore freedom of speech is a necessary tool to question authority and disseminate a counter argument.

The issue of the 9/11 cover-up is very well known. Millions of people all around the world are waking up to the unfortunate fact that we were all lied to about what really happen and who was responsible for the attacks. This video is a testament to the blatant denial of physical evidence, molten metal that was found at the base of all three high-rise structures. John Gross, the lead engineer of the WTC NIST report, denies this fact despite the overwhelming physical evidence and eyewitness testimony. The fact that molten metal was present can only be explained by the use of high-grade incindiaries such as thermate. Regualar buring fires cannot burn at temperatures hot enough to melt steel.

This film is also an attempt to illustrate the need for protest in creative ways in order to draw attention to the issues such as 9/11. The whole idea behind the sign is to disrupt high profile media events to subvert there message and put in my own. A kind of culture jaming.
