For my second ACTLab project, I went back to doing one of the things I love doing the most: making videos. For this project I wanted to take on Death as a transition from one phase of life to the next. I made this project with the intention of showing the feelings of sadness that comes with growing up and the way people can feel trapped in the adult world. I wanted to capture the longing feeling for a simpler life that was synonymous with childhood that we will never get back now that we have grown up (or are in the process of growing up). After I finished I was told that it also seems like this is showing the loss of a child and the sadness that brings. It is open to interpretation, so take from it whatever you get out of it.
