We don’t see things as they are. We see them as we are.

BLIND

The purpose of Blind was to step into the the shoes of somebody completely on the opposite side of the spectrum as me. I wanted to question reality not only for myself but also the audience. The only way I knew how to accomplish this goal was to blind myself and completely give my intutuion to complete strangers and ask them to help me travel through the world. I wanted to see how it would feel to lose all sense of reality and give up what I feel is the most important sense an individual has.

I started at Benson library and made my way to Jack in the Box. My sense of reality changed completely once I put the blindfold on. My biggest fear was running into something or slipping and falling. As I continued my journey I realized that my fear of getting injured was taking over my ability to function properly in my new reality. When i finally reached Jack in the Box and took off my blindfold I quickly gained my confidence back which I take for granted.
