howdy. my name is jen. i’m a second year master's student in the women’s and gender studies program at the university of texas at austin. my dog’s name is esther clementine beauregard. we both like to take walks. and play. and snuggle. i have lived in austin for eight years. a two ball screw ball on a hot day is my idea of perfection...two wooden sticks, two gumballs, a curb, and my best friend. the rain makes me want to write novels. summer never comes too early. absurdity makes my heart parts glad. i will soon own a second dog, a boston terrier named dr. baxter winsley binzwinger and he will have a vest and a monocle. i like snowglobes. and modern art. and google images. and playing badminton in the street. and this line: “i dreamed of a lifetime of the taste of your mouth.” i have the most amazing family and the dearest friends. i want to learn to play the accordion. green makes me feel all fuzzylike. and no matter where i am, i'm always missing someone.
