Photo
Editor: You can use a photo editing program to resize photos
as well as change file size and types.

Video
Compression: Videos that go onto the ACTlab server must
be compressed before they can be uploaded. Our current compression
scheme is Quicktime Streaming, preferably Sorensen.
You can compress with Sorensen through :

Adobe Premiere Pro/6.0, Discreet Cleaner.
A
free alternative way to encode your videos is to use VLC, which
is available at www.videolan.org.
The schema we require is *.mov file format,
Video:
mp4v 384 (scale so that your video is roughly 320X240),
Audio:
mp3 128, 2 channel
