The Dream Jar is a concept based off of a cheesy late-night type of infomercial. The dream jar is intended to both stimulate new dreams and help the user remember his or her forgotten dreams. The dar is constructed out of an old olive jar, model-grade craft sand, razor blades, and a collage-type mixture of pictures. When shaken or rolled the jar presents the user with a barrage of images. The razor blades act as a degenerative agent that slowly cause the pictures to dissipate into nothingness as a forgoten dream would do.
