I noticed many people doing interpretations of their dreams for their projects. I decided to make a tool that we use to dream.

I decided to go with making pillows, but not your ordinary average pillow. I wanted them to be fun and have some personality.

So, I decided to begin making a thought bubble pillow, a blood puddle pillow, and a quote bubble pillow.

I intended to make a pillow for every single person in my class to take home, but my experience at the sewing machine has been minimal. I attempted to use my grandmother's but ended up threading the thing completely wrong.

So, I began making each one by hand. The thought bubble pillow came out just as I liked.

The quote bubble pillow came out even better. I attached a pad of paper with some buttons to the pillow itself, so when you have a person sleeping on the pillow, you can change the saying to anything you'd like.

The blood puddle pillow was fun to experiment with. You just basically make a free form design and sew it as you would a normal pillow. When you have someone lay down on it though, the image of their head on the pillow resembles that of an image if their head had beenleaking a lot of blood.

This project was a simple idea and I'd like to continue on with it. If you have any other suggestions of what could be made into a cool pillow, please contact me.
