Soundscapes Final Project: Circuit Bending
For my final project I decided to tamper with circuit bending. I tried to take a children's toy to see what I could possibly make out of it.
Opening it up, I came to find that there were not as many chips to bend and mess around with as older toys since technology has developed more advanced integration methods. But I was still able to a bit with what I had.
In poking around I found some cool noises that I could make when I shorted the capacitors, so i soldered some wires in the back, and left the other wires free for me to poke around in different areas.
With that being said heres my reorded presentation so you can see it in action!
When it came to presentation time, I knew this may not be enough to suffice, so I made a little "musical-esque" type performance. I had an onstage panic attack, and my fellow ActLabbies were to the rescue!
