These are two music videos I directed, produced, shot, and edited with virtually no budget at all. They are faithful adaptations of the band's artistic interpretation of the music videos. I do believe JT Coldfire can be the next Stevie Ray Vaughan. The only critique I have about them is that they should have a defining image and/or style of music. JT Coldfire is a very talented man, but needs to find that one "hit" and hone in on it.
N. 281:
Director: Jason Nguyen
Band: JT Coldfire
Label: Two Boys Productions
Production: Sony PD 150 & Final Cut Pro
Locations: Austin, Corpus Christi, Rockdale, San Marcos, & Victoria
This is a documentary style music video following the band to their road shows. I went on a four day road trip with the band to get band footage in Victoria, Rockdale, and Corpus Christi. Additional shoots in San Marcos and Austin were held with aspiring actress Angie Ojeda, who was super awesome. Christina Childress (Ciao Agency) was also casted as an extra.
Get It On (In The Back Of The Bar):
Director: Jason Nguyen
Band: JT Coldfire
Label: Two Boys Productions
Production: Sony PD 150, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Shake
Location: Austin
Several ideas for this music video were turned down due to financial reasons. I cast my fellow actor Ryan Schneider (Kim Dawson Talent Agency) to play the principal lead. Angie Ojeda, Ashley Donigan, Laura Jeminez, and Chad Norheim were cast as supporting characters.
