What do Senior Savages most anticipate come graduation time? Many are ready to begin exciting careers, start families, or further their knowledge while living the collegiate life. But we, the staff of the Savage Round-Up, know they also look forward to the announcement of ASHS Senior Superlatives.

Each Senior Savage is eligible to vote once on the write-in ballots, distributed in home room period the last week of class. The ballots are collected and sent to Principal Winkle’s office, where the votes are counted by Principal Winkle himself. While he often grumbles about it, the Savage Roundup staff suspects it is one of his favorite “school year” traditions.

The categories do not change from year to year, but this year we felt compelled to add a new title, that of “Mr. All-American Savage,” for a very special senior. We hope you will enjoy celebrating these noteworthy Savages as much as we have.
